Espaço Origem is a UNESCO house with four private rooms available for short and long term art residencies / inspirational stays. It is understood to all guests that whenever they complete a reservation, they also adhere with no contradiction to the following guidelines:
1. Reservation and Confirmation:
1.1. Guests can make reservations through our website, phone or email. For reservations longer than fifteen days please contact us directly.
1.2. Guests will receive confirmation of their reservation only after successful processing of payment.
1.3. Reservation requests are subject to availability and confirmation.
1.4. Espaço Origem reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations at its discretion.
2. Check-In and Check-Out:
2.1. Check-in window starts at 15:00 and finishes at 20:00, check-out time is anytime before 11:00.
2.2. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
3. Payment and Cancellation:
3.1. Guests are responsible for payment of the total reservation cost, including any additional charges, taxes, or fees incurred during their stay.
3.2. Cancellations or modifications to reservations for short stays must be communicated, at least, 72 hours prior to check in time. Successful cancellations intents, will be issued back as refunds within a 30 days target.
3.3. For stays longer than 15 days, you must cancel at least 15 days in advance. Successful cancellations intents, will be issued back as refunds within a 30 days target.
3.4. No refunds are given for intents of cancellations made outside the time frame. No-shows also result in a charge equivalent to the total reservation cost.
4. Host and Guest Responsibilities, Liability and Damages:
4.1. Guests must provide their ID with accurate personal information and contact details during the reservation process.
4.2. Espaço Origem is not liable for any loss, damage, theft, or injury to guests or their personal belongings during their stay.
4.3. During their stay, guests are fully responsible for any damages caused to the property itself or to the items inside the property.
4.4. Espaço Origem reserves the right to apply immediate termination of the stay if guests fail to comply with the present policies, engage in illegal activities, or cause disturbance to other guests.
4.5. Important! Disturbing noises that cause disruption to other guests or neighbours in our area, will be subject to immediate expulsion from the residential premises.
4.6. Important! Smoking is only allowed in our garden area. Smoking in enclosed areas will be subject to immediate expulsion from the residential premises.
4.7. Important! It is not allowed to enter Espaço Origem without providing ID. Refusal to provide ID is subject to immediate expulsion from the residential premises.
5. Privacy and Data Protection:
5.1. We respect the privacy of our guests, therefore we handle encrypted personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
5.2. The data of the guests provided during the reservation process or during the stay will be used only for the purposes of reservation management, communication, and legal requirements.
6. Amendments:
6.1. We reserve the right to make changes or amendments to these terms and conditions.

7.2. For any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions please request our complaint book.

By completing a reservation or staying at Espaço Origem, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions stated above.
